Compile OpenMandriva?

At http://www.distrowatch.com you can read now « and has been compiled using the Clang/LLVM compiler.»

Can we understand it as an information, that the installation from OpenMandriva completely from scratch as compiled Linux (comparable to LFS, Gento, NuTyx, and perhaps Arch) is favourized and supported?

Hi,
installing OmLx from scratch isn’t currently supported. I don’t say it’s impossible but I doubt that someone did try. Actually, we use ABF to build both packages and isos. See this page (to be updated) for a little more infos.
