Colin asked me to make a bug list for open bugs in Lx3 Beta for our developers. My best guess at main bugs needing fixing for GA release. Some will disagree and add or subtract to/from list. That’s OK it’s meant to be a working document. Here’s what I have at the moment:

Some of them like 1736 and 1747 are real difficult. I’m skeptical if either of these can be fixed in a reasonable time frame for a release so some other approach may be needed.

Some like 1467 and 1801 (which currently are same issue) will be super easy.

No problem. Good idea in fact. Don’t have a lot of time right now. Dealing with health care/Worker’s Comp issues.

  • Icons on desktop Join and Donate give 404 error in browser Solved

  • Oma-welcome needs update (already sent email to Crisb - waiting for fix) Postedit 2016-06-03: fixed

  • Live mode screen resolution is too small
    Install screen resolution is too small as well and hardly usable because calamares window is bigger than the main one itself (bug 1718)

  • User avatar images still are the old 2014 ones (bug 1680) Solved

  • K3b still missing from package list

  • No ISO i586 new builds

  • Freeze never actually happened. Cookers keep on saying “just another this, just another that” so-so

  • Cookers living in their own world: no communication, no dialog, emails just ignored, people willing to help happily ignored too.

Also, default application menu randomly changes without any reason. Some ISOs have one, some other have the other.
Currently, default is old kickoff when it should be homerun-kicker (IIRC the launcher/menu name…) instead.

More seriously, bugs affecting system running in virtual machines should be considered if not blockers (no, not blockers!) at least of high importance because people looking for a new distro, reviewers, or just curious guys are not going to install a new system in real hw as first shot. They install a virtual machine first.
IMHO.

Logout then login is impossible. Don’t know why.

May be it’s system dependent. I installed Lx3 only in netbook Acer Aspire One D270.
I’ll try in different pc.
