I have blinking coursor after upgrade system. Rome. Intel haswell gpu. I installed system 24.10 once again and after upgrade the same situation. Kernel disabled to be upgraded. Something wrong is with firmware or video driver. Sddm is working and active but not appear in screen. KDE6. X11

Might be unrelated for ROME type of build, but I had GTX 1650 and Cooker, but similarly KDE Plasma 6 on X11 not rendering anything useful properly after upgrade.
I killed processes of KWalletd and KSecretd by SSH’ing into my Cooker, stopped their daemons/services, removed them from initiation on boot and then removed both from system.
This helped and I had no issues since so far.
1400 packages over. Upgrade from 24.10 fresh install to today version. system lost screen after cleaning old packages
