We got those out here in Poland by they are not nearly as big or fun. from what I saw

I do not know exactly how “fun” this will be. Looking through who is speaking/sponsoring the event, it doesn’t exactly scream upon inital appearance a collective of people who share our values. However, I’ve been looking for active LUGs and in-person events within my area, and I have yet to see anything else. I believe fostering local, in-person interactions however possible is crucial to success. I am putting my money where my mouth is here.
I figure I will give TLF a chance, and if nothing else: act as a model and representative of OpenMandriva & our collective values, and build from there.

I wonder how many people who are interested in Linux not the politicks you will found there.
I’m a type of guy who is politically blind in terms of project that should have nothing to do with politicks. Do I have my views? Of course, just like anybody. But there are meaningless when we try to build some, let say Linux distro or text editor. Or a freaking swing for kids
