Application Bouncing Icon Not Appearing In Every Plasma Session

In my Plasma Cooker VirtualBox, when I click on an application during sessions, either in the panel or on the desktop, it will either produce a mini bouncing icon for the entire session, or it will not.

Should the appearance of the bouncing icon occur all of the time? For this current session, the bouncing icon is not appearing. Logged in via X11 and 3D Acceleration for the virtual GPU (VMSVGA) is enabled.

No. I use VirtualBox nearly eveyday and I do not recall ever seeing that. I have in VBox Cooker, Rolling, and Rock systems in x86_64 and znver1 (yep that makes 6 systems). I use these for testing various things.
