After 30 seconds Plasma 6.3 drops me to a black screen with flashing cursor

Hello,

  • _OpenMandriva Lx version:_Latest

  • Desktop environment (KDE, LXQT…): Plasma 6.3

  • Description of the issue (screenshots if relevant): Installed the latest updates after sync from cooker

  • Relevant informations (hardware involved, software version, logs or output…):

Posting from kitchen, because desktop PC is not working. First boot after upgrade took a long time to get from SDDM to the dektop. I quickly did a reboot to check if it was a one time issue.

Second boot did the same thing. A long time to get to the desktop. I was on Matrix posting about it when it dropped me to a black screen with a cursor in the top left.

I don’t have everything on the kitchen PC, so I can’t get to Matrix. I had no problem getting to a TTY.

I hollered for help in the Matrix room to see if someone could jump here and help.

Do you see anything in the logs (journalctl or so) that looks suspicious? X11 or Wayland? What GPU are you using? Do you get to the desktop if you run startx from the TTY? Does it stay up then?

I’m trying to get everything reinstalled, but I am stuck waiting for the repos. I think I will go get some sleep.
