I don’t know why, but the forum keeps giving me a custom status of “on holiday”.
I keep trying to remove it and it always comes back. Any ideas?
I also have this weird green dot appearing on my avatar for some reason

You are not the only one with the “On Holiday” status. The green dot is new and shows if you are currently online.
@raphael and @rugyada I believe are the ones that handle the forum. It probably has something to do with the recent hardware migration. Some default options may have been reset or discourse updated.
Me too. I think they performed an upgrade, because the interface looked different and I was nearly blinded by a light theme. 
And apparently even if I remove the On Holiday status, it reappears automatically.
I figured it all had something to do with the recent “issues”. Just wanted to be sure I didn’t break anything
I had the interface go to light mode. After my eyeballs stopped smoking I reset it to dark mode again, seems to be working.
I don’t have any options for custom status, I just have a textbox when I can say whatever.
Basically, yeah. The green dot shows who is online and the “On Holiday” is tied to regional calendar holidays.

And yesterday was Columbus Day in the US, a non-holiday holiday. At least, I don’t think I’ve ever had that day off in my entire professional life.
