I just installed OM Lx 4.3 and in System Tray I don’t see the “Update” icon.

That is discover-notifier. It is missing because we do not recommend using Discover (or dnfdragora) to update OM Lx operating systems. Instead open Konsole and copy and paste this command:
$ sudo dnf clean all ; sudo dnf upgrade
If user really needs a GUI packmanager to do system upgrades then DnfDrake would be a better choice.

Why?
Tried but I don’t know how to include (or exclude) a single package. Nor how to stop update process. Finally much less easy than a GUI, as often happens for command line.
Installed and tried it apparently stop working for long time. Not clear if it hang or not because there isn’t indication of data downloaded.
I’ll try again.
Install dnfdragora-updater. Update icon should be available.
Dnfdrake, if enabled, is launched at startup and checks for updates (via dnf) after 5 minutes and every 2 hours thereafter. Consume data only during these phases; the rest counts the time until the next check. The consumption of resources is minimal.

About Dnf Drake probably I’ve not been clear. I don’t complain about resources needed but about information. When you’re downloading a “big” package and/or your connection is slow DnfDrake seems doing nothing for long time and you can’t know if it hangs o is working.
ITALIAN VERSION: visto che mi sembra di ricordare tu sia italiano vedo di essere più chiaro.
Il mio appunto sul funzionamento di DnfDrake non riguarda l’impiego di risorse di sistema che immagino sia ridotto e comunque limitato nel tempo.
Invece riguarda la totale mancanza di indicazioni riguardo al flusso di dati, ad esempio non c’è nessuna indicazione della percentuale di dati scaricati, la solita strisciolina colorata orizzontale che si allunga mano a mano che lo scarico procede. Il risultato è che scaricando ad esempio FreeCAD, di quasi 300 MB, tocca aspettare un bel po’, fino alla fine dello scarico, per capire che è andato a buon fine. Nel frattempo dalla finestra di DnfDrake non si capisce se il programma è bloccato o occupato.
Nel caso aprirò un’altra discussione per non andare troppo fuori tema.

I did not understand the report, I thought it referred to the updates icon. You can activate the verbose function as an extra and you will have much more information.
Alternatively from configurara you can use securemode.

Non avevo capito la segnalazione, pensavo fosse riferito all’icona degli aggiornamenti. Puoi attivare da extra la funzione verbose ed avrai molte più informazioni, anche troppe 
In alternativa da configurara puoi usare la securemode, che ho introdotto da poco e come scopo finale ha quello di arrivare a quello che vorresti tu, anche se ancora c’è da lavorare.
Ti ringrazio per il feedback, in oltre un anno di sviluppo ne ho avuti veramente pochi… per uno che non è un programmatore di professione non è il massimo.
Se apri un post ad hoc (in italiano 
) cercherò di migliorare questo punto del programma.

Added an item “dnfdragora-updater” in main menu that do nothing.
Not a big problem because I’ll try dnfdrake.
