Update a broken system using chroot

I need to update my OpenMandriva that has no KDE nor network connection.
Then I follow indications in How to use mount and chroot to fix a broken OM system to use a live OpenMandriva to update my broken system.
Using Software Manager I search for updates and I get more than 1200 packages to update! Then I suspect that these updates are for host system (OMV live) not for my broken system.
More: I can’t choose which packages to update.

Using command line
urpmi --auto-update
as root I’ve been able to update.
