If you’d like to include into official repository you should make a pull request on github repo (or merge directly if you have permission) at master branch and open a request on buzgilla.
You may build it on ABF but it will be published on your personal repo only. I’ve never try to publish a package in cooker repo directly because I don’t know how to sign a package on ABF.
Well, so far it looks all right and I hope it will be build soon.
I think we got the point so this post mat be signed as resolved or closed because it is so long. For any other questions it’s better to open a new one.
Where is bug report? You should post a link to it in forum…
Also I tried to get developers (Bero and Colin) to look at bug 2199 and they don’t understand what you’re trying to do? Bug needs more description. Specifically:
“They need to make sure that they ask for review of their pull request either by bero or TPG.” So you need to talk directly to either Bero or TPG about this.
Try sending him a personal message and explain what you are trying to do and why you are trying to do it. Try to understand that someone reading a bug report has no idea what conversations about the issue you may have had unless you put that in the bug report. Developers are busy it’s never wise to assume that they read every forum post or even every forum thread.
I guess the link to the bug report was already provided by Mandian.
The idea was to propose the corresponding update to texstudio package. However, I’ve received an e-mail from Colin in which he said the proposed version is already outdated! The update version is 2.12.6 and he, Colin Close, has already managed to take the very last version …
I have to thank everyone. I’m still planning to take the next step:
Julia package seems to be up to date;
Going to openscenegraph, simgear, flightgear 2017 as soon as I have job window.
