– We have decided to find out how many users who would like to learn more about the creation of a functioning distro. A number of people have expressed their willingness to help out with their time by building and maintaining packages. The problem is that some basic knowledge is required and this need has been recognised. It was thought that a series of short classes could be of help to these potential helpers.
It would be great to give them individual tuition but it is just not efficient to do it this way. Anyone who is interested in learning more please register you interest either on the blog or in the forum or speak to ashledombos on irc.
