Problem installing wordgrinder

Hello,

OpenMandriva Lx version:

OpenMandriva Lx release 25.06 (ROME) Rolling for x86_64

Desktop environment (KDE, LXQT…):
i3

Description of the issue (screenshots if relevant):
I have a problem installing wordgrinder, as specified in the paste below.
I did install what I assume to be the library I need, from what I can find it should be the correct, however it seems not to be, I installed the lib64glfw libraries both of those.

I have a paste with the information but I am not allowed to put links here.
paste.centos.org/view/0f18cb43

Link fixed.
Now you are allowed.

seems it was just a matter of my having only downloaded the “dev” version latest release works fine.

It doesn’t look like we package it. So, you will probably need to use flatpak. We don’t support installing RPM’s we didn’t package, even if you get it working. Mostly because we can’t control if the dependencies would be met properly since we tend to use newer versions than most distros, even on our Rock release.

my problem, in the past tense was that I could not compile, but it worked very well when I tried with the 0.8 release instead of dev.
Not really sure what the problem with dev is.

Support is for the installing and using the distro and packages. Development is for those wanting to contribute via Cooker. If you are doing dev work or compiling things for your own system, you can open topics in Coffee break.

I am working on a build of the dev version for cooker. I’ll let you know if I get it published to cooker repos.

Okay, sure I will do so going forward.

Wordgrinder 0.9 dev branch has been published to the cooker-extra repo.

Cool, but I got 0.8 to work so I am happy.
