Om-welcome segfaults constantly in Lx 3.0

Checking to see if anyone notices this before filing a bug report. One of the things is that when I select om-welcome from the Application Launcher it does not open. If I run it from Konsole I get a plasmashell dialog box that indicates segfault. In KDE Menu Editor the path (/usr/bin/om-welcome) appears to be correct.

$ coredumpctl dump om-welcome

   Message: Process 6273 (om-welcome) of user 1001 dumped core.
Refusing to dump core to tty (use shell redirection or specify --output).

I confirm that om-welcome does not open from application launcher (or it takes too much to do it) but it opens without any error from command line and from a desktop icon I set up to do it.
