New Cooker Plasma, XFCE, and Gnome3 ISO's available for testing

Note: There is no claim made that there are any bug fixes since previous ISO’s. No claim that these are ideal operating systems. They are simply the most recent Cooker ISO’s available. They are provided for user testing and as a pre-pre-preview of our upcoming OM Lx 4.1 release.

New Cooker (OM Lx 4.1 pre-pre-preview) ISO’s available:

Note: KDE/Plasma desktop remains the “official” desktop of OM Lx distro. The XFCE and Gnome3 ISO’s are community spins provided by the hard work of @AngryPenguin and @Colin.

The XFCE and Plasma desktop x86_64 ISO’s I have tested in VirtualBox and they boot and install and seem to work in VirtualBox. The znver1 and Gnome3 ISO’s has not been tested that I know of.

Feel free to provide patch.

i try on VM with Kde & Xfce
Kde is ok , but trouble on boot and login for Xfce , only a TTY or console

is there any password for Xfce ?

If I good remember xfce start in fail safe session by default. You need at login screen change it from this session to xfce.

I have made some significant changes to the original post. Newer Plasma ISO’s and added Gnome3 ISO to the list.

As matters have progressed with OM developers these are most likely the best current representation of what will become OM Lx 4.1 release.

I tested both in VBox and they boot, install, and reboot in VBox.

I checked that the x86_64 ISO # 2833 does boot on hardware and Calamares installer does startup. Will check the znver1 ISO soon.
