Is the omlx-302 software update environment down?

  • Desktop environment (KDE, LXQT…): KDE

  • _Description of the issue (screenshots if relevant):_Is the openmandrivaLx-3 software update environment down/broken? I get no updates anymore for at least 3 weeks.

No, there haven’t been any updates for Lx 3 in that time.

I’ve asked a question about this on IRC, basically asking what Lx 3 users should expect going forward. Will post here when I know something more.

A developer told me that for Lx 3 going forward there will only be updates for bug fixes and major security issues.

OM Lx 4.0 is getting close to release and users are encouraged to try the ‘Live’ ISO and provide feed back. Or try an install in VirtualBox or on hardware if you can manage. The more feedback we can get from our users the better of a job we can do for our users. See more here.

Most recent ISO is here. It is missing LibreOffice. If one wishes to install LibreOffice:

$ sudo dnf install libreoffice

If you do decide to try this ISO it is recommended to read the Release Notes. There are some major changes.
