Install Wifi Driver Realtek rtl8821ce

What is not clear here?

I will edit your posts mess now. Don’t do that again

That is what System Update is for. It’s in the menu. We also would prefer our users to be involved in the use and support process instead of just consuming. This is an independent distro and we have been very clear on that.

You missed the part where we discovered the driver is part of the kernel now and may be blacklisted or some other testing might be needed.

This was also an important part:

The summary of the above statement is that the code is too old and the maintained version is part of the kernel now.

How did you get kernel 6.15 on a clean install? I am looking at mine and it is at

Kernel: Linux 6.14.2-desktop-2omv2590

Did you manually install the 6.15 kernel? If so, you did not install the headers and modules. Rather than letting us help with the freezing problem, you are doing things on your own that most likely won’t help you.

I apologize for the wrong way to post issues, I misunderstood the code comment, thanks for your clean up.

I don’t know how to install another kernel on this distro. What I did was I updated the system with the cmd’s provided, once w/o flatpak included and once with since I installed Signal to assist with sharing cmd’s and links. I also installed Firefox.

When you did a fresh install from the ISO, it installed the 6.13.9 kernel. If you updated with the command I gave you, you would be on Linux 6.14.2-desktop-2omv2590
So, when you updated it the second time, it overwrote the log file and we can’t see what happened.
