I’ve been spending more time with OpenMandriva Cooker, and I’m genuinely excited about both the system and the project behind it.
The desktop experience has been excellent so far: the system feels extremely responsive, polished and stable, even without any additional tweaking.
I also wanted to mention gaming performance, because that has impressed me as well.
Without any extra tweaks, Stray and ARC Raiders have been delivering very high and stable FPS on my system.
For me, this is not just about getting high frame rates, it’s about the fact that the whole system feels consistently stable and responsive as a complete experience, both on the desktop and in games.
I’m very happy to be part of the OpenMandriva community, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute and learn more about the project.
I’ll do my best to make that trust worthwhile.
Looking forward to what comes next.
