Sorry to resurrect it now, but I’ve been busy and haven’t had the chance to give OMLx another go since then because when I turn on my VPN, I lose access to my NFS server, and my desktop essentially locks up as I use NFS for a lot of my data (data is in another VLAN).
There are several differences between those distros and OMLx. The program should really be packaged first so it can be tested and the issues can be resolved correctly.
Or, you can use the Flatpak.
There’s no Flatpak for Private Internet Access, unless you confused me with Proton VPN. And last I checked, split-tunneling doesn’t exist in Proton VPN.
I also sent them a support email, and hopefully they get back to me on that. However, I have a feeling that they’ll tell me its just the missing kernel config or something that’s missing in OMLx that exists in Arch and Ubuntu.
I also understand that OpenMandriva isn’t Arch or Ubuntu, but isn’t that worth looking into if its just missing a piece that makes something work that works in other distros?
