I’m looking to buy a drawing tablet (10 Best Cheap Graphics Tablets Under $50: Budget-Friendly) for taking notes, drawing, editing photos, etc. Can anyone recommend a tablet that works on openmandriva as well as it is expected to work on Windows?
This might be a different approach, but I have a working OM install on an old first-generation Surface Go tablet. You can find working used ones for around $50 US, and then you have a self-contained machine with tablet functionality.
I have used Huion on Linux before and they work most of the time but occasionally the pen stops working properly and starts drawing straight lines instead of following your movement. I’m not sure if the problem is the replacement pen I bought and I don’t know if it would be any better on Windows. restarting the computer solves the problem. I haven’t tried any other brand.
